Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the Depression Screening.

How long does the Depression Screening take?

About 6 minutes on average. The test has 24 statements you rate on a scale, and most people complete it in 5–8 minutes.

What does the Depression Screening measure?

It is based on the PHQ framework used in primary care — depressed mood, loss of interest, physical energy, and thinking and self-worth. Your responses are scored across each cluster and produce a severity band with guidance for that level.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your responses are processed in your browser. We don't sell personal data and our practices comply with GDPR and CCPA. You can request export or deletion at any time.

Can I retake the Depression Screening?

Yes — as often as you like. We recommend waiting at least 30 days between retakes for a meaningful comparison, since short-term mood and life events can shift your responses.

Is this a clinical diagnosis?

No. This is a self-screening tool, not a clinical diagnosis. If you're concerned about your mental health, please consult a qualified mental-health professional.
