How It's Scored
Trait-EI tests typically use a 7-point Likert scale. Items are summed (with reverse-keyed items flipped) into sub-scale scores. The TEIQue produces four factor scores plus a global EQ. Populations means typically center around 50 on a 0–100 scale, with high being 70+.
