Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the Mental Age Test.
How long does the Mental Age Test take?
About 5 minutes on average. The test has 24 statements you rate on a scale, and most people complete it in 4–7 minutes.
What does the Mental Age Test measure?
It scores four everyday habits — how you unwind, how you handle risk, what you find funny, and how you relate to technology — and maps the result onto an age band. It is entertainment, not measurement.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your responses are processed in your browser. We don't sell personal data and our practices comply with GDPR and CCPA. You can request export or deletion at any time.
Can I retake the Mental Age Test?
Yes — as often as you like. We recommend waiting at least 30 days between retakes for a meaningful comparison, since short-term mood and life events can shift your responses.
Is this a clinical diagnosis?
No, and it is not a psychological measure of any kind. "Mental age" is not a real concept in psychology — it does not measure maturity, intelligence or development. For an actual cognitive assessment, try our IQ or MoCA tests.
