Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the OCD Screening.
How long does the OCD Screening take?
About 6 minutes on average. The test has 24 statements you rate on a scale, and most people complete it in 5–8 minutes.
What does the OCD Screening measure?
It is based on the OCI-R framework — intrusive thoughts, checking and doubt, contamination concerns, and ordering and symmetry. Your responses produce an indicator band with guidance, including how to ask for ERP therapy specifically.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your responses are processed in your browser. We don't sell personal data and our practices comply with GDPR and CCPA. You can request export or deletion at any time.
Can I retake the OCD Screening?
Yes — as often as you like. We recommend waiting at least 30 days between retakes for a meaningful comparison, since short-term mood and life events can shift your responses.
Is this a clinical diagnosis?
No. This is a self-screening tool, not a clinical diagnosis. If you're concerned about your mental health, please consult a qualified mental-health professional.
